There are over 50 events already listed in We Are Thornton Heath for this summer!* I know some folk are finalising details before adding theirs, so there are even more to come. It’s all pretty simple, and totally free. 
I’ve chatted to a number of parents/guardians recently who are crying out for more kids/family-friendly events to be listed. A few mentioned feeling a little disconnected from the community and appreciated having one place to find local stuff. So, if we could get all local events up on We Are TH, that would be fantastic. It’ll really help to keep us all connected and ensure no one misses out.
*If you already have it, open up the We Are Thornton Heath app, you’ll find all sorts of live music events (bands, DJs, karaoke), games clubs, dressmaking & cooking classes, community gardening, loads of sports and fitness stuff, fairs, festivals, and parties…

Did you know, We Are Thornton Heath comes in two parts:
- A mobile phone app to stay in the loop with Thornton Heath news, events, offers, info and tours.
- An online hub for local businesses to manage their events, offers, notifications…
With a business account, you’ll be able to:
- List and manage all your events and offers
- Send direct notifications to people who have the app on their phone
- Use the online forum to chat with other local businesses and groups
- Set up Geo Alerts to notify people walking by when an event is on

- If you’re a local business/community group, set up your free account using this link via a web browser such as Chrome/Safari: https://thorntonheath.loqiva.com
- Please disregard the payment section ~ under no circumstances will you need to add bank details. Instead, add the promo code FreeTHCAT2024 to gain indefinite free access.
nb. The promo code is case sensitive. - Once set up, use the video tutorials within the business hub to guide you through the features. Here you’ll be able to add and manage your events, offers, notifications and geo alerts.
- At this point it would also be great to use the forum to introduce yourself to the other business users.
