Trumble Gardens 3rd Action Day

Friends of Trumble Garden’s first two (very successful) Action Days have seen over 40 people of all ages helping with the bush and hedge trimming, bulb planting and litter-picking. This time we plan to get some more of the bushes in the Italian (Ornamental) Garden back into shape. We will plant some more Spring Bulbs and we will do a bit of litter picking.
But we need your help. We’ll be there between 10.00 and will finish by 13:00. If you can spare an hour you will make a huge difference to what is a lovely ornamental garden that has been neglected for too many years. Remember what the gardens were like in January 2018 at the time of the Light Show and music event?
We will be able to provide the kit for litter picking and will have shears and loppers etc. and we are very interested if you are proficient with either petrol or battery powered hedge trimmers. If you can cut hedges and bushes, please do come along.
Refreshments – tea, coffee, mineral water, biscuits and mince pies will be available for all helpers. We also have access to toilets.
Please dress accordingly for the weather and we would recommend some stout footwear. We are more than happy for you to bring the children along, but please, they must be accompanied by a parent.
