To celebrate the fantastic street art in the area, Thornton Heath Community Action Team, FreeArt & CALAT decided to join forces to create the Thornton Heath Art Trail.
Whether you do all sixteen stops in one go, or break it up into smaller trails, it’s a great way to explore the neighbourhood, finding hidden gems from local and international artists.
The Thornton Heath Art Trail also features on the ‘We Are Thornton Heath’ mobile app, which you can download for free. Once registered, open the app, tap the ‘More’ button (bottom right), and select ‘Tours’ to start exploring.
Please note a couple of amendments to the trail:
1) The Melfort Road banners have been removed.
2) Visit the ranger hut in Trumble Gardens to see the Desmond Dekker mural (funded by THCAT in 2023).
